Apprentice Experiences

Thomas Heil, Toolmaker

“Wiha is a straightforward family-run business. That was the reason that I applied here for an apprenticeship as a Toolmaker: Because at Wiha one has the chance to get to know every single employee.”

Why I decided on an apprenticeship as a Toolmaker
I have completed several internships as a toolmaker and afterwards I was very interested for the precision work and the CNC machines required for it.

I like this about my training at Wiha
I am not only dependent on a trainer, but rather also experience a lot from the trained toolmakers. I also like the family atmosphere – everybody knows each other here.

These are my plans for the future
After my apprenticeship I will continue training for master or technician and possibly also study.
